Diet Masala COLD PRESSED (Kaachi Ghaani) Mustard Oil  is manufactured by the old traditional method by using wooden chekku with their nutrition and purity intact.
We use the best quality mustard seeds procured from highly ethical farmers in small batches, and each lot is physically verified for quality.
We extract mustard oil in Kachi Ghani’s by wood pressing the seeds, this method ensures that all the nutrients and the rich flavor of mustard is retained since the Ghani moves at a very slow speed of 4-7 rounds a minute and therefore almost no heat is generated at any point.

Quality we care about

We maintain an all-natural production process and don’t standardize our oils using artificial colours or essences. There maybe a minor difference in aroma and colour across batches. Foaming/Frothing can happen during deep frying in any cold pressed, raw oil. It’s because of excessive moisture in food and oil heat. Try frying a small ball of tamarind first to prevent frothing.

How its Made?

• High quality farm fresh Mustard Seeds are sourced locally from partner and farms.
• Mustard Seeds are Sun Dried for 2 days and is thoroughly cleansed.
• Mustard Seed are then crushed in a traditional Wooden Churner (Ghani/Chekku) at slow speeds to ensure that the oil is extracted at low temperatures maintaining all the natural flavours and nutrients.
• The oil is left for sedimentation in stainless steel containers for 5 days.
• Oil is then filtered and packed into bottles.
